Holiday on a budget!

Holiday season is in full swing, we’re all getting ready for what is typically the most wonderful time of the year. Through the pandemic many people have had to make several adjustments within their career and personal life and financially the gift of giving may be a more complicated task this year.  Whatever the case may be, if you’re reading this; WE MADE IT THIS FAR! 2020 is almost over, and 2021 is coming in hot! Here are five ways to Holiday on a budget:

1.)   Home made goods! If you are typically a gift giver for all your buddies, try a homemade gift, bird houses are super fun and easy to make, all you need is some Popsicle sticks, a hanging loop and paint to customize it. Lip and facial scrubs for the ladies are always fun, get yourself some coconut oil, brown sugar, and a few drops of your or their favorite essential oil mix it up in a jar put a bow around it and consider yourself done!

2.)   Go with secret Santa and set a reasonable limit! This way everyone is held to the same standards.

3.)   Give the gift of your time! Our time is valuable, if you haven’t had the opportunity to visit a special friend or family member; this would be a great idea to set some time aside to check out some Holiday lights, or invite them over for a nice homemade dinner.

4.)   Make a list and check it twice. A list is a great way to stay on task! Make sure before the shopping starts that everything you’ll need is there. Try your hardest to stick to the list!

5.)   Set a budget and avoid last minute shopping. Last minute shopping creates last minute anxiety in thinking something is missed; this feeling often leads to over compensating if the gift department. However if you’re having a Holiday bash it’s always good to have an extra unisex gift in case!
